Noi Bai transit tours are for passengers connecting at Noi Bai International Airport (HAN) who want to make the most of their layover in Hanoi. UBUK picks you up at the airport, takes you into the city and brings you back in time for your next flight.

Who can join?

  • Passengers with an arriving and a departing flight at Noi Bai, with a layover of up to 24 hours.
  • Checked baggage must be checked through to your final destination (you do not collect it at Noi Bai).
  • Each booking needs at least one adult aged 18 or over; up to 9 travellers per booking.

How long a layover do I need?

The booking page works out the tour times that fit your flights: allow about 60 minutes after an international landing (30 minutes for domestic) to clear the airport and reach the meeting point, and the tour must end at least 3 hours before an international departure (2 hours for domestic). The timetable on each tour page shows the latest landing time and earliest take-off time for every departure.

What to bring

  • A passport valid for at least 6 months after the tour date.
  • Your boarding pass / onward flight confirmation.
  • Your UBUK tour confirmation email with the QR code.

Visas and entry

  • Vietnamese citizens and travellers with a valid Vietnam visa / e-visa / residence card: nothing else is needed.
  • Visa-exempt nationalities: UBUK submits your details to the immigration authorities — book at least 3 working days ahead.
  • Travellers who need a visa: UBUK arranges entry for transit passengers under Vietnam's law on entry, exit, transit and residence of foreigners — book at least 8 working days ahead. You can also apply for a Vietnam e-visa yourself before travelling.
  • International arrival connecting to a domestic flight: travellers who need a visa must hold a Vietnam visa beforehand.

Deadlines are 17:00 on the working day (excluding Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays) before your arrival date. Travellers who need no entry clearance can book up to 24 hours before the tour starts.

Prices, children and infants

  • Prices are per person, by age on the tour date: infants under 2, children 2 to under 12; 12 and over pay the adult price.
  • Prices include airport transfers, a guide, entrance tickets and the food/drinks listed in the itinerary.

Payment

After booking you receive an email with bank transfer instructions and a payment deadline (up to 24 hours after booking, or earlier if entry clearance is needed). Your tour is confirmed once full payment is received; unpaid bookings are cancelled automatically after the deadline.

Cancellation

  • Unpaid bookings: cancel yourself on the Find my booking page.
  • Paid bookings: send a cancellation request from the same page — UBUK will contact you and refund according to the transit tour terms.

What if my arriving flight is delayed?

Please call the UBUK hotline straight away. If a later tour time still fits, UBUK will move you to it; otherwise you will be refunded according to the terms. Your onward flight always comes first: the guide may shorten the programme to get you back to the airport on time.
